P!NK Gets the party started in Cardiff

Global superstar P!NK ‘Got The Party Started’ in spectacular style, as she kicked off the UK leg of her phenomenal Summer Carnival World tour last night (11th June) at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, returning to the Welsh capital for the first time in five years following her sold-out show at the stadium back in 2019. As the tour kicks off and continues throughout the UK in June, P!NK continues to deliver one of the most exciting shows to land on UK shores this year and prove once again that she’s one of the best live performers in the world today.

From the moment the music Icon appeared between a set of giant sparkly lips 50-feet up in the air, she delivered a high-energy, technicolour, hit-packed, acrobatic and gorgeously flamboyant live show like no other, that kept the 57,000-strong crowd up on their feet for over 2 hours.

From stomping dance routines, colourful costumes, and stunning carnival-inspired staging, P!NK performed hits from across her extensive and acclaimed catalogue from beautifully haunting stripped-back numbers to joyous singalongs and energetic bangers, all intertwined with her signature majestic aerial stunts on-stage and in the air.

Catapulting straight into Get The Party Started, P!NK’s breathtaking aerial stunts are in full force as she ricocheted up and down, whipping the huge crowd into a frenzy which continued on throughout the show which was packed with many of her biggest hits including Raise Your Glass, What About Us, Trustfall and, Cover Me In Sunshine, which saw her daughter Willow join her on stage. Bringing the monumental show to a close, P!NK took to the skies for So What, flying over the audience on her custom-design cable system.

Following her show in the Welsh capital, P!NK will head to London to make her debut at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for two nights at the weekend (15th & 16th June), before returning to the hallowed grounds of Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium on 24th and 25th June, and then bringing a close to the UK leg of the tour at Glasgow’s Hampden Park on 28th and 29th June.

2023 saw P!NK’s first shows in Europe in over four years, and she didn’t disappoint. Described as ‘The Greatest Live Entertainer in the world’ and ‘hands down one of the best concerts, ever’ P!NK brought her colossal Summer Carnival Tour production to over 1 million fans across 21 massive sold-out shows in 7 countries, including 7 in the UK alone.

The North American leg saw her perform to a further 1.75 million fans with sold-out record-breaking shows across the country and earlier this year, P!NK completed the Australian and New Zealand leg of the tour where she played the most stadium shows by a female artist and broke the record for the biggest selling tour by a female artist in the region, selling over a million tickets along the way.

Over 3 million fans have already witnessed the epic show putting her Summer Carnival Tour on track to be one of the biggest-selling tours of all time.
