Chewwy and Leia head to Cardiff for Star Wars Day!

This May the 4th there’s no need to travel to a galaxy far, far away to celebrate Star Wars Day – just make your way to The Red Dragon Centre at Cardiff Bay instead!

Not only is Star Wars: Ep.1 – The Phantom Menace returning to the big screen to celebrate it’s 25th anniversary on May 4th, but character favourites Chewwy and Leia (character tributes) will also be joining in the fun too!

Originally released in 1999, Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phanton Menace tells the tale of two Jedi (Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi) on a quest to find allies who come across a young boy who may bring balance to the Force. Putting a bit of a dampner of things are the long dormant Sith who resurface to claim their original glory.

Star Wars fans can meet them at the Centre between 12-4pm (at intervals) – be sure to catch them for a selfie or two!
